My journey started similar to a lot of you. Working for someone else, wanting more out of my life. My background was actually working in marketing, but I was spending my days helping other business owners accomplish their dreams, and I wanted to do the same.
Over the years, I was tired of sitting in my desk watching my boss pull up in his nice looking Maserati, while I was stuck in a dead end job. That frustration led me to a big decision: quitting my job with ZERO work lined up for my Father-In-Law and I to start our own concrete business. In the beginning, things appeared like they were going well. Due to my marketing background, we were able to scale our business to $1,200,000 of revenue in Year 2. That's when reality sank in and I realized running a successful concrete company was FAR beyond just getting leads and selling them.
